Research provides evidence that the HIV virus requires a host cell to carry out its metabolic activities. Which evidence supports that the HIV virus is non living?

    Research shows that the HIV virus requires a host cell to carry out its metabolic activities. HIV virus is like other viruses which are non living when present out of the cell in the form of crystals. When HIV virus come in contact with the living cell. The virus enters the cell, start growing there and made copies of itself. After sometime the virus attack on the other cells and start growing there and repeat the cycle.
