Why arent climax communities the same anywhere on earth?

Successful succession of any area leads to the formation of a climax community with the passage of time. A climax community is a stable community whose species are able to replicate themselves and pass on their characteristics to their offsprings. Climax communities are different because every area of the earth has conditions for the survival of different plants and animals. For example, cactus plants are adapted to survive in a desert biome but cannot survive in an aquatic biome. Hence, the development of each climax community depends on the environment and nature of the area.
