Why are Prokaryotes so important to life on Earth?

    Prokaryotes is important to life on earth because they remove carbon dioxide (carbon cycle) and return it to the atmosphere. It is also a vital part of the nitrogen cycle. Basically, in simple terms if we didn't have them then we wouldn't be able to thrive and survive.
