1 thing is how people can become ill from eating some GM plants. This is because they are bred with plants that can defend them self to basically produce their own herbicide. Because of this, it is unsafe for human consumption. If something like meat is modified, (e. g growth hormones in cows etc.) there is a risk of making the meat dangerous.
