2.) Development - For a cell to develop it goes through this process because if it didn't it would be all the same cell with no purpose

Once it has copied its DNA it usually divides into two new cells. This process is called mitosis. Each cell gets a complete copy of the DNA bundled up as 46 chromosomes. Cells that are making egg or sperm cells must divide in different ways
