    Explanation:

    Naturally-occurring trans fats are produced in the gut of animals and they can be found in dairy products and meet. However, there are not sufficient studies to determine whether they have bad effects on health or not.

    Artificial trans fats, also known as partially hydrogenated oil, are created in an industrial process which adds hydrogen to liquid vegetable oils to make them more solid. Trans fat raise the bad cholesterol levels (LDL) and lower the good cholesterol levels (HDL). So they increase the risk of developing heart disease, stroke and also diabetes type 2.
