    A hypothesis has be falsifiable because only then a theory or research statement can be proved right. Usually a hypothesis is considered in a way that it is a negative representation of a fact.

    For example -

    If sun in round in shape and this statement is to be tested, Then the hypothesis assumed shall be

    H1: Sun is not round.

    And in case the main motive of researcher shall be to prove this hypothesis as false as only then he/she will be able to prove that "sun is round"

    Hence, option D is correct.
