Well the main diet of the Americans are of junk food which contains fats and unhealthy cancer cells. hence, the cells will build up in their body, leading to the build up of plaque and heart disease.

heart disease means that it takes longer and it's harder for the heart to pump blood to the rest of the body. hence, other parts of the body such as liver and kidneys will receive less blood, leading to damaged organs.
