What are the differences and simularaties between viruses and animal cells?

    Viruses and animal cells are alike because they both replicate, have dna, and die. They are different from each other because a virus needs a host to live while an animal cells can use its own food. A virus is not considered a living thing because it lacks a cell structure because it is made of proteins.
