Soy is a type of plant protein. This is great for vegetarians who are against eating meat but still need a source of protein. Some benefits of eating soy products (like tofu and soy milk) are mostly cardiovascular, lowering blood pressure since they are naturally cholesterol free and low in saturated fat.
