Prokaryotic cells do not contain a nucleus and other membrane bound cells for example bacteria, while a Eukaryotic cell contains a nucleus and other membrane bound organisms, it can either be single celled or multi celled for example, humans and fungi.

Answer: The main difference between the prokaryotic cell and eukaryotic cell is that prokaryotes do have nucleus and eukaryotes have nucleus.

    Explanation:

The most primitive organism on earth are prokaryotes, they do have membrane bound organelles as they do not contain nucleus. Their genetic material is dissolved in the cytoplasm.

Eukaryotes have genetic material in the nucleus which is used to carry the traits from one generation to another generation.
