The correct answer is - From solar radiation entering the atmosphere.

The Greenhouse effect is a natural atmospheric effect that occurs because of two things, the solar radiation that is entering the atmosphere, and the presence of certain gases in the atmosphere.

The solar radiation is the main source of heat. It warms up the atmosphere, as well as the ground. Part of this heat is absorbed by the ground, but part is reflected, thus it remains in the atmosphere. The reflected heat moves upwards, or rather tries to get back to the space. The presence in the atmosphere of certain gases, like the carbon dioxide and the methane, do not allow that to happen on large scale. These type of gases, called Greenhouse gases, have the ability to trap the heat into the Earth's atmosphere, with the end result being warmer climate on the Earth.
