The right answer is A Tetrapods were no longer tied ...

Tetrapods are divided into two groups: Lissamphibians and Amniotes.

Amniotes have the amniotic egg. Basically, membranes protect the embryo in the egg: these membranes prevent water from leaving but allow air exchange. So, Amniotes are animals independent of the aquatic environment for reproduction.

Tetrapods are no longer tied to the water for reproduction.

    Explanation:

Amnion is the fluid filled sac that surrounds the embryo in eggs of terrestrial vertebrates. Amniotic fluid serves as cushion for embryo and protects it from desiccation. Evolution of the amniotic egg in ancestral amphibian of reptiles is considered to be an extremely important event since it removed the dependence of terrestrial vertebrates on water for reproduction and allowed them to complete their life cycles on land.
