Describe how an ecosystem changes throughout the stages of succession

You have a heavily over populated ecosystem. The case it that a forest fire happens. That makes no plants or animals in that ecosystem for a long time. This is very good for the environment at times. After a long period of time, the plants and animals start coming back to the environment. After everything it's all back the way it was before.
