What was thomas malthus's theorem? food supply grows arithmetically, but population grows geometrically. both the food supply and the population grow geometrically. food supply grows geometrically, but population grows arithmetically. regardless of population growth, there will always be enough food to feed everyone?

    Malthus came to prominence for his 1798 essay on population growth. In it, he argued that popilation mutiplrs geometrically and food arithemetically; therefore whenever tje food supply increases, population will rapidly grow to eliminate the abundance
