Sports injuries can be caused by different things such as:
• Overtraining-excessing too much or too often with insufficient rest between exercise
• Overuse - doing repeated actions which pressure to a certain group of muscles or joint
• improper warm-up - body temperature and circulation are not increased
• poor technique
• impact in sports like football or rugby.
All of these causes lead to the same: wasting muscles.

Many things can cause sports injuries, but the most common causes are: overtraining, lack of water, lack of professional guidance, lack of warm-up and stretching, lack of rest.
Explanation:
Lack of professional guidance: Avoid starting to exercise alone without the support of a physical education professional. Do not try to reproduce the training of a friend or family member either. But before you start exercising, look for a professional to find out if you have any kind of impediment and how safe the exercise is for your health. Overtraining: Top athletes are always striving to push their own limits. However, those who do not live on sport need not exaggerate. Observe how your body responds to each movement after physical exercise. Increase the intensity progressively without haste. Talk to your teacher whenever you feel pain or discomfort. Lack of water: Hydration during and after each exercise session is critical to replenishing fluids and minerals and performing well. It keeps the body healthy, prevents injuries and more serious illnesses. Lack of Warm Up, Stretching, and Resting - Warm-up causes muscles, tendons, ligaments, heart, and lungs to adapt to the effort they will perform. And be sure to stretch after exercising. This relaxes the muscles and gives more flexibility. Rest is also essential. Working the same muscle group every day will not bring a faster result, quite the opposite.
