Which characteristic of living things is important to the survival of a group of animals rather than an individual member of this group? Why? (2-3 Sentences)

    The ability to adapt.

    Explanation:

    If a group of species has the ability to adapt according to their environment, it will have a greater chance of survival even if there is drastic change in their environment.

    But if this only happened to an individual rather than a group of animals, then whole of the group would not benefit from it since they would not be unable to evolve if it could not apply to the entire species when only one survives, leaving an endangered species.
