On the other hand, inhibitory control is the ability to inhibit or control impulsive (or automatic) responses and to create replicas using attention and reasoning. These cognitive abilities are two of our executive functions and contribute to anticipation, planning, and goal setting.

    These two abilities are linked and acting together as several brain functions are working in multiple regions of the brain at the same time.
