Natural Changes That Can Affect an Ecosystem. Wind, rain, predation and earthquakes are all examples of natural processes which impact an ecosystem. Humans also affect ecosystems by reducing habitat, over-hunting, broadcasting pesticides or fertilizers, and other influences.
