8 possible combinations of the three sets of dyads will result after the completion of anaphase i.

    Explanation:

Dyads are coupled chromosomes coupled by one paternal and another maternal chromosome. They are the pair of homologous chromosomes or sister chromatids and consists of two parts. It is found during Anaphase-I. During anaphase the dyads normally split and migrate independently to either sides and hence causing 8 possible combinations at the end.

It separates homologous chromosomes into two and send it to the poles. During the process combination of the maternal and paternal chromosomes happen and then split at the end of the anphase-I.

Dyads are the set of two coupled chromosomes at the time of the first maturation mitosis, one of paternal origin, the other of maternal origin.

These chromatid tetrads in cell biology are characteristic features observable in prophase I of meiosis, during pachytene, during which meiotic recombinations take place.

The number of possibilities is 2^n (n is the number of dyads)

    2^3 = 8 possibilities

During anaphase the is a split of dyads of maternal and paternal that can migrate independently to one of the two sides.
