    I'm no biology expert, but I think the least effective would be a young athlete. It's because they are young and athletic, I believe that the body can fight off the pathogen better. As already having an ill host would be great for the pathogen, because the immune system is already working extra hard. A smoker may have other ailments caused by smoking, and a pathogen would make it worse. And old people already have weak immune systems, so I mean ...
