Answer:The structure of proteins is determined by nucleic acids.

Explanation: In every cell, the amino acid sequence of every protein and the nucleotide sequence of every RNA is determined by the nucleotide sequence in the DNA of the cell. The flow of genetic information in the cell is from the DNA to RNA to proteins. The nucleotide sequence of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA) determines the amino sequence of a protein, and the type of amino acid contained in the sequence determines the structure of the protein. Proteins which have more hydrophobic amino acid residues tend to fold in such a way that the hydrophobic regions forms the protein's interior, while proteins that have more hydrophilic amino acid residues tend to have less folding. The extent to which a protein folds determines the its structure. The structure of every protein is a product of the information contained in the nucleotide sequence of the cell's nucleic acid.
