    Monomer of nucleic acid is Nucleotide.

    Nucleotide is made up of three components namely - Nitrogenous base, pentose suger and phosphate group.

    Depending upon the nucleic acid, i. e RNA or DNA, nucleotide can be Ribonucleoside triphosphate (rNTP) and deoxyribonucleoside triphosphate repectively (dNTP).
