because the hypothesis is the thing you are testing like for example if this happenes ... then this will happen

A hypothesis must be testable because a hypothesis is only an educated guess or a suggested explanation and it is crucial to be able to analize it and test it ... that tells wheather you were correct on your hypothesis or not!
