Explanation:
To stay healthy and growing, cells must maintain a suitable volume to surface area ratio. Thus, when a cell gets too big, they begin cell division. They replicate themselves, effectively creating two cells within one large cell. Then, they begin to pull apart and eventually separate, forming two medium-sized cells that are completely equipped with their own organelles.
