how do levels of thermal energy and speed differ between low and high friction surfaces? how does this difference relate to a transformation of energy?

    Speed reduces with increased friction while thermal energy increases with increased friction

    Explanation:

    The higher the friction between two surfaces the higher will be the thermal energy while the lower will be the speed.

    While in case of no or low friction between two surfaces, the thermal energy will reduce while the speed increases tremendously and causes slipping.

    The energy transforms from kinetic energy to frictional energy and then to thermal energy.
