    Pliocene

    Explanation:

Toward the end of the Pliocene, dramatic climate changes occurred, and the continental ice sheets began to spread. With more and more water locked in ice, sea level fell. The Bering land bridge appeared between Eurasia and North America and South America formed the Central American land bridge, where various species migrated between continents. pg 243 Earth Science.

    The answer is; Holocene.

The Bering Strait is located in the Arctic circle and is a small continental gap between Russia and Alaska. About 11, 000 years ago, the ice age locked up most of the water the polar circles hence the ocean levels were lo exposing the Bering Strait crossing. This allowed organisms to cross between the two continents.
