GMO's are genetically modified organisms.
Pros
More crop yield Can withstand heat, cold, and drought Insect resistant Won't be affected by herbicides Lower prices of food and has necessary nutrients
Cons
Believed increase of food allergies due to GMO's Hard to kill bacteria that have a thick enough cell wall to resist antibodies (antibiotics) Harm to environment with herbicides
