In humans, sex cells are produced by a different process than other body cells. How is the process used to produce sex cells different from the process used to produce body cells?

    They have only half the number of chromosomes

    Explanation:

    Sex cells are haploid containing half the number of chromosomes as our body cells. When sex cells combine in fertilization it creates a diploid cell containing the correct number of chromosomes for the organism.
