    Explanation:

    Concrete creates a large carbon footprint as carbon dioxide is released during its production. Steel releases air emision like CO, SOx, NOx, PM2. Whereas, brick is made out of clay the heat required for manufacture is usually gained from coal burning releasing emissions into the atmosphere. Although timber contributes to deforestation when managed sustainably has the potential to be carbon neutral/sustainable.
