Sclerenchyma
Explanation:
Sclerenchyma is the term used to denote a tissue or cell type that has lignified walls. Sclerenchyma cells have thick lignified secondary walls and dies out when mature and provides the main structural support to a plant. Sclerenchyma is the tissue which makes the plant hard in nature. Sclerenchyma is the supporting tissue. Two types of sclerenchyma cells are there : fibers and sclereids. Their cell walls are made up of cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin.
