Its really not good at all. But here are the two ways.
1. Genetic engineering can produce new life forms such as new animals and insects. (Sometimes babies)
2. Genetic engineering may be able to increase human lifespan in the future as well as giving humans special abilities.

a. Through genetic engineering, people could maintain their lifestyles without the threat of AIDS or Cancer.
b. Genetic engineering might allow the creation of better tasting, or more nutritious foods.
