    Proteins are polymers. The monomer of ANY protein is always an amino acid.

    Amino Acids

    Amino acids have a central atom of Carbon, which is covalently bonded with an amine group (NH2), Hydrogen, Carboxyl group (COOH), and the R-Group, which there are 20 kinds and form 20 various kinds of Amino acids.
