    Explanation:

    The mitochondria is there for the generation of the right amount of energy for the mechanism for driving the different processes inside the living cells, present inside both the animals and plants. While, the animals do not have the chloroplast inside them which is some how similar in function to the mitochondria in all, as it is there for the creation of energy for driving all the life force inside the living cells.
