With aluminum, bromine, carbon, argon which element would lithium most likely form an ionic bond

    Answer: Bromine

    Ionic bonds are formed between ions of oppositely charged atoms i. e metals and non-metals of the periodic table. Lithium being a metal placed on the left side of the periodic table has a tendency to donate electron and the non metal bromine being on the right side has a tendency to receive electrons. So, lithium combines with bromine to form lithium-bromide
