Matter is anything that has mass and occupies space. There are three different states of matter - solid, liquid, and gas.

Everything in life is made of matter. You are made up of matter, I am made up of matter, a coffee cup is made up of matter and so on.
Matter is the small little particles that make up bigger things.
In addition, anything that occupied space and has mass
is considered matter.
