    Passive transport is the movement of molecules across the cell membrane without inputting any energy. There are three main Types of passive transport which are diffusion, osmosis and facilitated diffusion. Osmosis and diffusion both are passive transport because the movement does not require any input of energy the only difference in the osmosis and diffusion is solute is also move with a solvent in diffusion while in osmosis only the solvent particles move.
