The phenotype of the short plants would be two lower case letters. The phenotype of the tall plants would be one capital letter and one lower case letter or two capital letters

    hh

    Explanation:

Let's say that the tall gene is represented by an upper case H and the short gene by a lower case h, depending on which pea plants bred and their genotype, the phenotype will vary. Genotype is their genes and phenotype is their physical appearance. Since the tall gene is dominant though it is most likely the plant will be tall.
