The two parts of cell division are mitosis and meiosis.
Mitosis -
A type of cell division that results in two daughter cells having the same number and type of chromosomes as the parent cell
Meiosis -
A type of cell division that results in four daughter cells each with half teh number of chromosomes as the parent cell
