    Explanation:

    In Mendelian Genetics the dominant traits alleles are expressed in capital letters while the recessive traits alleles are written in small letters.

    The genotype of the traits determine the phenotype of the individual. The genotype can be either homozygous recessive or dominant, or heterozygous dominant.
