    The answer would be estrogen

Ovariectomy is a procedure to remove ovaries. Ovary function is to produce estrogen. When the ovary is removed, the synthesis of estrogen stopped. Estrogen has a role in regulating osteocyte, osteoblast and osteoclast cell which regulate the bone formation. The absence of estrogen will increase the bone remodeling thus reducing bone density.
