The correct answer will be Lactic acid fermentation and Ethyl alcohol fermentation.

    Explanation:

Fermentation is a metabolic process taking place in the absence of oxygen or anaerobic condition by organisms and cells of a body, which convert carbohydrate molecules like sugar or starch into alcohol or acid.

There are two types of fermentation reaction based on the products formed:

    1. Lactic acid fermentation: fermentation reaction in which lactic acid is formed from the substrate pyruvate.

In the reaction, electrons are donated by NADH molecule directly to pyruvate generating lactic acid. This reaction is performed by the cell lacking mitochondria like RBC and mucsle cell lacking oxygen. Bacteria like Lactobacillus acidophilus which is found in yogurt perform lactic acid fermentation.

    2. Ethyl alcohol fermentation: fermentation reaction in which etahnol is produced from the pyruvate substrate molecule.

It is a two step process in which pyruvate is converted to 2-C molecule acetaldehyde then, acetaldehyde to ethanol where electrons are provded by NADH.

This fermentation is performed y certain bacterial species and yeast and is used in industries to produce many products like cheese, wine, beer and many more.

Thus, Lactic acid fermentation and Ethyl alcohol fermentation is the correct answer.
