The temperate grassland is chosen for agriculture due to its mineral and nutrient rich soil which gives good yield. Rich content of carbon is present in the grassland soil.

    Explanation:

Temperate grasslands or 'granaries of the world' is the hotspot of wheat production.

Grasslands are the boon to the ecosystem as it is responsible for clean water and prevents the frequent floods. Hub of food crops and grazing for cattle giving meat and milk. Increases the carbon content in the soil.

Farmers rely on carbon cycle and thus preserve the grassland.

The soil in temperate grassland is rich in minerals and carbon content makes it ideal for farming.

the rainfall is of about 50 cm which is good for agriculture.

The loss of nutrients and minerals from the soil is prevented by stopping the leeching and mineral erosion. This is controlled by carbon content of the soil.
