The main disadvantage associated with the trawling process is that the trawl disturbs the plants and animals that stays over a bottom substratum. This results in the disturbance of the sea floor ecology.

    I believe this because trawling does exactly that. Trawling can harm not only fish but the habitats the fish reside in.
