A society that derives its main source of food by hunting deer in a nearby forest kills between 750 and 1,000 deer each year for many generations. over time the society's population doubles, and the people begin killing approximately 1,500 deer each year. eventually, the people are able to locate and kill only about 500 deer per year. one year, the people can only kill 300 deer. what is most likely the sustainable yield of deer in the forest?

    I believe the answer would be 750-1000 deer/year.

    The number of deer killed by the population is 750 - 1000 deer each year for many generations, so the sustainable yield would be at least 750-1000. The deer population shift after the society population grow and start to hunt 1500 deer. Hunting more deer will cause its population plummet which make less deer could be hunt in the following years after. This show that 1500 deer a year is more than the sustainable yield.
