    DNA replication is a process that occurs in living organisms. It is a process that take place in the cytoplasm of prokaryotes and in the nucleus of eukaryotes.

    DNA replication can be defined as the process whereby when cell division occurs in mitosis, the DNA molecules is copied or replicated into two DNA molecules that are identical in the two daughter cells that were formed during the cell division.

    We have 3 phases involved in DNA Replication and they are:

    a. Initiation phase

    b. Elongation phase

    c. Termination phase
