    Explanation:

    Coyote is tertiary consumer which feed on secondary consumer such as snake. Grasses are the producer which has 10,000 units of energy. We know that only 10% of energy is passed from one trophic level to another and the remaining 90% is lost as a form of heat energy. So only 1000 unit of energy is transferred to primary consumer. From primary to secondary consumer, only 100 units of energy is transferred and from secondary to tertiary consumer only 10 units of energy is transferred.
