    Maximum alleles

    Explanation:

Maximum number of alleles that a person can carry is two

A gene may have multiple alleles but a person can carry only two of those alleles because chromosomes exists in pairs Humans are called diploid organisms because they have two alleles at each genetic locus, with one allele inherited from each parent, each pair of alleles represents the genotype of a specific gene Gene determines a particular trait whereas alleles determines the variations in which a given trait can be expressed Human trait that is controlled by a gene with multiple alleles is blood group however only two of the alleles can be present in a single organism; ABO system of blood groups is controlled by three alleles, only two of which are present in an individual
