The three classification of Weathering are physical, chemical and biological. Physical Weathering is the breakdown of rocks through the action of direct contact with some atmospheric conditions like heat, water etc. Chemical weathering involves the use of atmospheric chemicals.

    Erosion deals with the washing away of the outermost region of the earth surface from one region to the other. Erosion breakdown rock gradually into soil particles through the action of wind and water flow. Erosion involves movement while Weathering do not involve movement.
