When looking for an independent variable, it is important to understand what an independent variable is. An independent variable is a variable that is intentionally manipulated in an experiment for the purpose of finding different results due to this manipulation.
So when looking for an independent variable, look for what is being changed or manipulated for the purpose of the experiment. If you find what is being changed, you will have a better idea of what the independent variable is.
